Prediction market custom software development: the product above the feed
Trading experience
We build market discovery, order tickets, position views and market price and fee previews for fans of sports prediction markets and for traders, so the new vertical is built to convert the players you already have. Where the venue supports them, we add combos and order flows for selling before settlement, with execution subject to market availability and liquidity.
Wallet and ledger
One balance view across sportsbook, casino and prediction markets within your custody model, in fiat or crypto, with contracts shown in currency and reservations, payouts and suspended states handled, so reconciliation can close every night.
Settlement and disputes
We connect your ledger and payout workflows to the venue’s outcome, dispute and settlement states, with an audit trail of the events and changes your system receives. We define exception handling before launch, so your team has a clear process when settlement is delayed or disputed.
Market operations
We build market operations around the catalog and market types your venue supports, including market creation where authorized and exposed through its APIs. Your console brings together real-time market data, trading volume and user activity, with jurisdiction controls and agreed handling of existing orders and positions when access changes.
Compliance flows
We build Know Your Customer (KYC), geofencing, responsible gaming limits and self-exclusion flows around the requirements confirmed for your product, exchange and target markets, reusing your existing providers and controls where they fit.
Exchange and data integration
We build adapters, data normalization and routing around the interfaces your venue provides. We assess available protocols and request-for-quote flows during discovery, and separate venue integrations from your product so the impact of adding or changing a venue can be planned.
What a prediction market solution needs beyond market access
A module or exchange API gives you a starting point, but its scope determines what still needs to be built. Your product may need a ticket that works for both sports fans and traders, clear position and fee views, and a balance experience aligned with the venue’s custody model. The execution and settlement model also differs between centralized exchanges and decentralized prediction market platforms that settle on-chain.
We assess those gaps against the module or exchange you already use. CrustLab connects the missing product and operational layers: settlement and dispute states reflected in your ledger, jurisdiction controls with agreed handling of open positions, and reconciliation workflows your team can review.

Build a prediction market: three ways in
Native layer over module
You bought a prediction market module and shipped it as an iFrame. Where the provider exposes the required APIs, we build a native product layer around the module you keep: your brand, your bet slip alongside the prediction ticket, and a balance experience designed around the custody and account model agreed with your providers.
Full product on an exchange
You have market access through a licensed venue. We build the player experience and operational workflows on top of its APIs, handling rate limits, execution and settlement states, and request-for-quote windows where the venue supports them.
Running your own venue?
You operate a licensed venue and need the software it runs on. We build bespoke matching and settlement software as a separately scoped project, working with your clearing partner on how orders match, positions settle and funds move.
What we commit to
A plan before the build Product architecture, custody and money-flow model, responsibility split and a phased plan with an estimate after the Discovery Sprint.
Build around your existing core We design the prediction product as a separate layer connected to your sportsbook or casino platform and your partner's exchange, and identify any required changes to the existing systems during discovery.
Money flows first How your ledger handles settlement states, disputes, payouts and reconciliation is designed before the first market opens.
What we will never promise
Providing market data, liquidity, clearing or market making These sit with your exchange and the relevant providers under their own terms.
Permission to offer a market, a license or a compliance outcome A public API is not evidence that a commercial launch is available.
Revenue, conversion or cross-sell figures We design the product; you run the business.
Launch dates before the Discovery Sprint The plan comes out of discovery.

FAQ
What does prediction market software development include at CrustLab?
At CrustLab, prediction market software development covers everything above the feed: the trading experience for web and mobile, wallet and ledger, settlement and dispute handling, market operations and back office, compliance flows and the integration with your exchange or module provider. Your exchange partner provides market access; matching, liquidity and clearing follow its operating model. Your business remains responsible for the permissions required for its role and target markets.
Can you build a prediction market platform like Polymarket or Kalshi, including the exchange?
We build custom products rather than clones. For operators adding prediction markets, we build the product on a partner exchange. For licensed venues, we can also build matching and settlement software as a separate engineering scope with your clearing partner. We start by reviewing the architecture, custody model and responsibilities; providing the software does not make CrustLab the exchange operator or clearing provider.
How do we choose a prediction market development company, and when is a white label enough?
Compare prediction market companies on the delivery and ownership model rather than the label: who owns the code, what you can modify, which fees grow with your volume and what a change of venue would take. If a standard white-label module covers your need, buy it. Our role starts where product, custody, operations or compliance gaps remain, and we compare those gaps and their cost before proposing anything.
Can you integrate with our current platform, exchange or prediction market aggregator?
Yes, within the APIs and access your platform and providers allow. We review the available interfaces, authentication, rate limits, execution and settlement states, and any request-for-quote flows in the Discovery Sprint. For BETFAN in Poland, we built the middleware that links the operator’s interfaces with its back office and platform.
Who owns the code of the prediction market product you build?
You do. Bespoke code and IP are transferred to you by contract, and the pre-built foundations we bring come with a perpetual license and the right to modify them. Third-party services keep their own terms, and technical integration does not by itself grant permission to offer a market.
What experience do you have with prediction markets?
Adjacent experience, and we name its scope. CrustLab built a pooled ledger and settlement at national-network scale for BetMakers (pari-mutuel), a custom sportsbook frontend and middleware for BETFAN, operator apps across jurisdictions for OlyBet, regulated mobile releases with KYC and geolocation for KTO, a casino platform from scratch and a real-time gaming platform with USDC payouts for Checkmate. We have not shipped a prediction market exchange.
What is the cost of prediction market development, and how long does it take?
We estimate the cost of a prediction market product from your partner’s API documentation and sandbox, your custody and balance model, target markets and the responsibilities on each side. We do this in a fixed-price Discovery Sprint of 2-4 weeks, then plan a first release and the next phases. The build after the sprint is an engagement of at least three months.
