Zowie is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup that is removing customer service bottlenecks by effortless automation of chat inquiries. The potential of this project was quickly noticed by investors, resulting in a $600k seed round in October 2020. The product is intended for all fast-growing ecommerce and B2C startups. Collaboration with CrustLab was initiated by Maciej Ciołek Co-founder of Zowie.

The main challenge of this project was the creation of the Software Development Kit for the mobile version of a chat widget for Android, iOS, and cross-platform, based on UX/UI mockups created by Zowie. These activities were aimed at facilitating integration with multiple platforms and preparing the product for further development and foreign expansion. An additional difficulty was the large number of functionalities in the Zowie chatbot.
How we built a mobile chatbot SDK
Thanks to the preparation of UX/UI mockups by the client, we were able to fully focus on mobile development. We created the SDK for a mobile version of the chat widget for Android, iOS, and Flutter.
The created solution has a list of advanced functionalities that facilitate the daily work of the customer service department, such as: adding attachments (e.g. photos, videos, product carousels, text, and PDF files), a system that automatically monitors the state of the app, the possibility of integration with an external push notification system, adding links and CTA, as well as contact with a live person instead of a bot in more complicated situations.
